SMC, or Sheet Molding Compound, is a high-quality material formed by combining various resin pastes with chopped fiberglass strands. This composite is transformed into SMC sheets through a meticulously designed impregnation process, ensuring it is impeccably protected by PE/PP film on both sides.
To guarantee optimal performance, the SMC sheets are stored in a temperature-controlled environment. This careful climate regulation allows the sheets to set and become partially cured, readying them for delivery or subsequent applications.
Once treated, the SMC sheets are expertly molded in steel molds to create various FRP components tailored for specific applications. Through precise heating of the die, these components achieve complete curing, ensuring durability and high performance.
