SMC is the abbreviation of Sheet Molding Compound, by using different resin paste and fiberglass chopped strand, it is formed into the SMC sheet going through a special designed impregnation section, protected by the both side PE/PP film.
The SMC sheet will be kept in a temperature controlled room to make the SMC sheet set and half cured before delivery or application.
The treated SMC sheet will be molded in a steel mold, and set into different FRP parts for different application, by introducing the heating on die to get it finally cured.
