SMC, short for Sheet Molding Compound, is a revolutionary material formed by combining diverse resin pastes with chopped fiberglass strands. This mixture is meticulously transformed into SMC sheets through a specially designed impregnation section, ultimately protected on both sides by PE/PP film.
To ensure optimal quality, the SMC sheets are stored in a temperature-controlled environment, allowing them to set and become semi-cured before they are ready for delivery or application.
Once treated, the SMC sheets are molded in precision-engineered steel molds. Through a controlled heating process, these sheets are shaped into various high-performance FRP parts, perfectly suited for a multitude of applications.
